Linkedin: Justus Parmar
Mr. Parmar started his career as a stockbroker and was a top-10 producer at three separate brokerage firms, including Macquarie where he led one of the firms largest advisory groups, and Jordan Capital Markets as Partner until it was successfully acquired by Mackie Research. While a licensed advisor, Mr. Parmar assisted more than two dozen companies go public and helped more than 125 early stage companies raise over $100 million.
Justus completed his Executive Education in Finance at the Harvard Business School and serves on the committees of two Vancouver-based charities, Face of Today and Youth Education Farms. He is a proud sponsor of the UBC Finance Club and has established 10 scholarships for UBC students interested in public markets.
Linkedin: Patrick Whibley
Mr. Whibley is a finance professional with over 17 years of capital market experience. Prior to joining Fortuna Investments, Mr. Whibley served extensively as an Investment Advisor with PI Financial and Global Securities in Vancouver. He has assisted in raising a significant amount of capital for venture companies, many in the go-public stage. Mr. Whibley has built his career by cultivating strong relationships and networks with both retail and high-net worth clients, brokers, analysts and investment bankers. He is a director with Liberty One Lithium (LBY) on the TSX.V
Linkedin: Sean Bromley
Mr. Bromley was formerly an Investment Advisor at Jordan Capital Markets Inc. (now Mackie Research Capital Corp.) specializing in venture capital investments. Mr. Bromley received his Bachelor of Commerce in Finance at the University of Calgary and studied at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is also a director of several TSX.V and CSE listed companies.
Linkedin: Yana Popova
Ms. Popova most recent worked with a Toronto-based merchant bank where she acted as an accountant to multiple public companies, one of which raised $145 million and went through a mine development. Ms. Popova received her Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Toronto.
Linkedin: Aaron Wong
Mr. Wong was formerly an accountant at Ernst & Young LLP as apart of the Assurance practice specializing in resources, tech, real estate and financial services. Mr. Wong received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance at Western Michigan University. He also competed as a Division 1 NCAA athlete in Tennis.
